Working on the Coal Coast

We’ve been based in the Northern Illawarra since Huddle & Co began — from humble beginnings in a small shed in Coledale, Huddle & Co has grown to become an established and respected part of the Northern Illawarra. You’ll see Huddle & Co furniture and joinery in many local businesses in not just the Coal Coast, but north and south— in cafes, offices, homes and small local businesses.

We love being local makers— involved in the community in which we work. We love the escarpment and the ocean, and the people that fill the space in between. We love providing this area with well made, natural furniture and joinery, made right here and made to last.

On Sustainability

As our world changes and fast furniture takes over—

It’s a joy and privilege, not to mention passion, to provide a different way. All of our work showcases a more old-fashioned approach. Work that is made to last. It’s sturdy and strong, made with absolute care and thoughtfulness.

We use Australian Timbers and source this timber from mills across the country. Our work is different to what you’ll find in the average department store— made with natural, good quality timber. Made by hand and made to last. It’s not just a recipe for something beautiful, its a recipe for something good— what the future needs.
